Scalpers on a spree

THE scalpers’ business is in motion.

For those who failed to score their tickets while it was still at the selling centers, they may have to pay a stiffer price if they still want to watch tonight’s game.

“What I heard is that the general admission tickets are now sold at P100 each, the upper box P300-P400, lower box P500-P700 and the ringside tickets are now P1,000,” said Cebu Coliseum manager Ben Tulda. “That is too much.”

General admission tickets were sold at P55 each, upper box P165, lower box P385 and ringside P550.

Tickets were sold out Monday yet, but Tulda still gets about 35 inquiries a day on the tickets.

Tulda said that they allowed only a maximum of five tickets per person, who buy at the Coliseum office.

“The scalpers would ask students to buy tickets for them. Students who are in uniforms and with IDs. In return they will give the student P5 for each ticket they can buy,” Tulda said. RCM
