Casili Hills relaunched; Maria Luisa brand announced
AGRO-MACRO Development Corp. is relaunching its medium- to low-cost Casili Hills Subdivision in Cubacub Road, Barangay Casili in Canduman, Mandaue City.
“There is a big need for low-cost housing, and the company’s thrust today is to provide for this increasing need,” said Annabelle Osmeña-Aboitiz, general manager.
The subdivision was first built in the late 1990s, and it now hosts over 100 residents, Aboitiz said.
Some 110 lots are now available for potential buyers to put houses on.
During a press conference at Bo’s Coffee Club at the Ayala Entertainment Center, Mary Anne Arculli, assistant general manager, also announced the launch of the brand name Maria Luisa Properties Group.
It will be the umbrella organization for four companies—MRO Development Corp., which developed the Maria Luisa Estate Park; Agro-Macro Development Corp., developer of Casili Hills; Renner Development Corp., responsible for the high-rise Maryville Condominium; and D’Logo Development Corp., which has middle- to low-income properties.
Clean title
Arculli said the idea was to let their clients know that even if they were buying a lower-priced house, it was still a Maria Luisa property, which means they could be assured of the property’s quality and “clean titles.”
Casili Hills boasts of a good location, being just a few minutes from North General Hospital, the Mandaue business area and Consolacion industrial area.
“Of all the medium-cost houses, we’re the closest (to Cebu City) with a good road,” said Aboitiz.
The subdivision has landscaped parks, a covered basketball court, clubhouse, concrete roads and gutters, centralized water distribution system, communication provisions and 24-hour security service.
Bakery
A proposed bakery and convenience store will also open right beside the gated entrance to the subdivision, along with a day care center to be administered by the Don Bosco Sisters.
Melanie Amante, sales and marketing consultant, assured that the lots are affordable, with the lot sizes ranging from 40 to 150 square meters, and “very flexible payment terms” available. The lots go for about P3,600 a square meter.
House and lot packages, on the other hand, start from 42 square meters, with the packages ranging anywhere from P650,000 to below P2 million.
Pretty
Arculli, an interior designer, assured that the houses at Casili, dubbed the Nicole and Jasmin, are “really pretty, not like others in the market that are boxy.”
The Jasmin has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living and dining areas, balcony and kitchen with a service area.
The Nicole has two bedrooms, but the lot is big so that it can be expanded upward, or to the back, when the owner already has the means to afford a bigger house.
“Nicole was built upon the request of future retirees from New York, a group of Cebuano nurses in a hospital there,” Aboitiz revealed.
It will take just four to six months to build a house in Casili Hills, she said.
Casili Hills Subdivision will have an open house this Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.
Maria Luisa Properties Group was founded in 1965 by Mary Renner Osmeña, mother of Annabelle, starting with the 10-hectare high-end Maria Luisa Estate Park in Banilad, Cebu. The park now encompasses 200 hectares of prime residential property.
Properties
The group’s other properties include Maryville Subdivision in Tigbao, Talamban, Cebu; Maryville Heights in Barangay San Jose, Talamban; Maryville Condominium on Gorordo Ave., and Agro-Macro Subdivision in Barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City.
Fairview Subdivision is in Barangay Kasambagan, Mabolo; Kahayahay Subdivisions in Pulangbato and San Jose, Talamban; and Dancing Sun Subdivision in Bolinawan, Carcar, Cebu. (CTL)
