Space Burger repulses Mega
FORMER champion Space Burger ‘97A withstood a late rally by a resurgent Mega Sardines to hold on for a 94-88 win in their Sacred heart Alumni Basketball Association action Thursday night.
Space Burger, the 2002 champion, looked headed to another easy win after taking a 76-57 advantage after three quarters.
However, Jun Comeros fueled a late run by Mega Sardines as they narrowed the lead to single digits in the final period, but it was a little too late as time ran out.
