Moneywise: Cutting costs of computers

COMPUTERS have become necessities these days not only to companies, but individuals as well. Computer prices, however, are still not that affordable.

According to software developer Godfrey Gerona, one can save on cost through computer assembly.

An advantage of opting for assembled computers is that you can choose the specifics, or the software you want to install in your computer depending on your needs.

Upgrading, when the need arises, will also mean lesser cost because you only have to upgrade specific programs that need to be upgraded.

Aside from being able to choose the specifics, assembling will also allow the owner to base his purchase on his budget, Arnel Lisombre said. JBN
