SuperFerry receives recognition from Cohrep
THE Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (Cohrep) named Superferry the Patnubay Awardee 2004 for Exemplary Corporate Contribution to the Hospitality Education in the recently held 12th Cohrep National Convention at the Philippine Plaza Hotel.
Cohrep said the shipping group “has more than delighted students and teachers with its innovative customer relations programs and upgraded service in passage.”
Gigie Hubilla, Super-ferry tours and group sales (TGS) manager, said this was achieved “through an ongoing program of fleet modernization and maritime safety in compliance with international maritime standards.”
Apex
Bien Claravall, TGS consultant and program director of the Apprenticeship by Experience program, or Apex, said the project is meant “to produce quality students who are able to acquire through Apex hands-on knowledge on ship management, ship site hotel and restaurant management, tourism and cruising while traveling to a destination.”
