Players, fans to get phones, cell cards in Cesafi All-Stars

FOUR cell phones and P47,000 worth of cell cards are up for grabs this week end in the Touch Mobile Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. All-Star Weekend at the Cebu Coliseum.

The winner in the 3-point shoot out tomorrow will also bring home a brand new cell phone courtesy of Touch Mobile aside from the bragging rights as Cesafi’s deadliest 3-point threat.

Slam dunk

The high-leaping collegiate slam-dunk king will also win a cell phone this weekend.

This year’s All-Star weekend is the first time for Cesafi to tie up with Touch Mobile and in the few weeks of their partnership have come up with interesting promotions, which include fan voting for the Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year through text messages.

Meanwhile, the first Inter-Collegiate Cheer Dance competition, which will involve high-school and collegiate teams, will also start tomorrow with the winning team bringing home P15,000 worth of cell cards.

The runner-up team will get P10,000, while the third-placer will win P5,000.

On Sunday, the winning All-Star team in the high-school level will win P5,000, while the MVP in the contest will win a cell phone.

In the college level, the heavily favored East team could bring home P10,000 if it beats the West squad. The All-Star MVP will win a cell phone.

The fans will also get a chance to win prizes in the Fans Shoot out. Cell cards worth P1,000 will go to the lady hoops fan who can make a shot from the free-throw line, while the men will have to take their shot from the 3-point area. (ML)
