Cosmopolitan memorial service to benefit worthwhile causes
“Light-A-Candle in Memoriam,” a pre-All Souls’ Day memorial program organized by Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels, will benefit two charitable causes in Cebu.
These are the Sto. Niño Home Children’s Foundation in Sibonga and the Pag-asa sa Paglaya Foundation for reformed ex-convicts.
Together with Ayala Center and the University of Cebu (UC), the event will take place at 6-7 tonight at the Ayala Center Cebu lagoon area.
The program will consist of a Eucharistic celebration by Msgr. Cris Garcia with performance by Roy Espiritu, Joel Bustamante and the UC Chorus.
Through this ceremony, Cosmopolitan aims to provide its clientele and the families it has served with the opportunity to offer tributes and prayers for their loved ones, in time for the yearly commemoration of All Souls’ Day.
The activity is supported by Angelicum Garden of Angels and Filmon Hardware.
Minor sponsors are Loyola Plans Consolidated Inc., Cebu Progress Commercial, Vic Enterprises, Pacific Plans Inc., Golden Haven Memorial Park, Cattleya Flower Shoppe, Café Orchidia, Mgraphics, Williams Commercial, Cebu Atlantic Hardware, RRA Paints, Parts Master Auto Supply, Richworld Marketing, Sun.Star Cebu, The Freeman and Cebu Channel 28.
