Lai Garden Seafood now open to public
Lai Garden Seafood Restaurant recently had its grand opening at Crossroads.
The traditional Chinese dragon dance, believed to bring good luck to a business, officially opened the restaurant,
Lai-Lai, which means “come” or “welcome” in Chinese, serves authentic Cantonese-Singaporean dishes.
Dimsum, mami, dry noodles, rice roll, congee and hot pots are among the favorites. The restaurant also serves Singaporean chicken curry crap Singaporean style, Singaporean bihon guisado, curry chicken rice and Cantonese short orders like the Singaporean spicy prawn, garlic spareribs and sizzling bean curd.
General manager Domingo Te said Singaporean taste is different and that’s what they are striving to present to the customers. He also stressed that the food they are serving is fresh.
Lai Garden also offers fresh seafood where one can pick live lobsters, Lapu-Lapu, eels, stone fish, abalone shells, turtles, rice frogs, prawns and crabs from their display.
