Miss Hawaiian Tropic search on
The search is on for the Philippine representative to the prestigious Miss Hawaiian Tropics International beauty pageant.
This was announced by the Independent Talent and Entertainment Management (Item), the Las Vegas-based pageant’s international independent regional director for the Philippines.
Item will conduct the nationwide search for 30 women who will compete for the title Miss Hawaiian Tropic International-Philippines 2005. The winner will then go on to represent the Philippines in the international pageant in Las Vegas in February 2005.
The winner must embody the ideal 21st century woman – someone with beauty, grace, poise, physical health and a keen sense of independence.
The pageant is an equal opportunity experience as it does not discriminate against religion, ethnicity, marital status and/or social status. It is open to women from all walks of life, aged 16 and above. The unique search represents location, not nationality, thus, it accepts Filipino and non-Filipino applicants. Single and married individuals as well as mothers can apply.
Applicants who have won or participated in other beauty contests are also eligible to join. Miss Hawaiian Tropic organizers believe that there is no limit to the number of times a contestant can try to reach her goal of qualifying for the international pageant finals.
The pageant brings the dream of paradise to the world, targeting women dedicated to healthy living. The Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Organization is the largest pageant system in the world, held in 1,500 US locations and spanning 45 countries across the globe.
Item Corp. is a multimedia talent agency and events planning organization geared towards maximum national and international exposure for all clients.
It also provides casting, talent booking, and talent management services for models, actors, voiceover talents, photographers and film producers.
Pageant auditions are held daily except Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Item office located at 907-A West Tektite Tower, Exchange Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig city.
Auditions will also be held in major cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
