Collector shot, yields P300T
PO3 Adonis Dumpit (right) questions a suspect, a minor, in the jeepney robbery in Villagonzalo II. While no official police report was released yet, witnesses and police inquiry pointed to Dumpit as the one who shot and killed a suspect minutes after the robbery.(Sun.star photo/Alex Badayos)
Three robbers, one armed with a .45 pistol, waylaid a junk shop collector, shot him and took P300,000 cash he was carrying in Ba-rangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City yesterday morning.

The 10:35 a.m. robbery was pulled off just some 60 meters away from the police station. The victim himself, though shot and wounded, ran the distance to report the matter to the police.

Hours later, a suspected snatcher was shot dead by police officers hot on his trail.
