Prohhorov: Only God knows By Gina Prohhorov Great potentials
It was almost Christmas when the two typhoons stormed the country. We saw so many of our Filipino brothers lose their homes and worse their own family members.
We saw how many groups worked day in and out to be able to pack some goods to bring to the devastated areas. Everybody was focused on how to be able to get the meals of the day. What made it worse was the fact that many main bridges were destroyed , thus cutting off the chance of delivering goods.
Yet within this calamity was another sad event when the king of Philippine Movies passed away. The people had been feeling weak due to the effects of the typhoon but everybody was desperate to be with Fernando Poe Jr. immediately.
We saw many buses moving towards Sto. Domingo Chruch. Many fans say they have not seen him personally but have to pay their idol a visit before he finally goes.
After just a few days, Speaker Joe De Venecia’s daughter got burned right in their own mansion.
Just a few days ago, the Comedy King , Dolphy, paid his good friend , FPJ, a visit. But the following day, Dolphy’s own grandson was killed.
All these sad events happened a few days before Christmas. Only God knew it would happen.
From the moment Jesus was born on Christmas Day, only He knew what would happen to Jesus and to the rest.
Since that is the case, each one of us must really live each day to the fullest. Do not wait for tomorrow to kiss and make up. Do not wait for tomorrow to say goodbye. Do not wait for tomorrow to start things right. Do it today because tomorrow may be too late.
If today we are given the chance to live, let us finish what we can because only God knows if we still have another day.
Perhaps this would be a good Christmas wish ——to have the strength to keep going strong not in a year but in a DAY. Only God knows.
Merry Christmas to all!
