Chowking introduces new drink

Chowking launched a refreshing drink called Nai Cha, which has become a hit in all its branches.

It comes with tea jelly and its Chowking version of the milk tea, which has long been a popular drink in China, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

According to Chowking marketing manager Jojo Ajero, the milk tea is an ice-cold beverage that features a blend of freshly brewed tea extract, creamy milk and brown syrup added with gummy tea jelly cubes and ice cubes.

“All these ingredients are mixed thoroughly for a great-tasting drink,” he said.

Ajero noted that this would be the first time milk tea is being introduced to the mainstream market.

“Perhaps it has been available in a few high-priced specialty restaurants. With Chowking Nai Cha, however, the general public is given the chance to taste and enjoy this delicious drink at an affordable price. They can even get it anytime at any Chowking branch nationwide,” Ajero explained.
