Prohhorov: Anastasia By Great potentials Gina Prohhorov
If you check world history, you will find that Anastasia was the youngest daughter of the last Tsar of Russia. Her whole family was executed in the revolution of 1916, which she was able to escape.
Until now she is still unaccounted for, but Walt Disney produced an animated version where her grandmother, the Empress, offered a reward to those who could find her.
Anastasia fell from the train which she was about to board with her grandma.
She was afflicted with amnesia from the fall and ended up in the orphanage.
In time, she left that unhappy place to search for her real home. With the help of two con men, she finally found her grandma, happily to learn that home is where you feel safe and warm. It could be right where you are.
This story is so relevant to us because sometimes we forget this . We take things and people for granted. We complain, we compare, we wish we could be somewhere else altogether. We wish we had someone else.
So does that end? We end up poor, unfortunate souls, so unhappy!
Remember those days you fought with your family members over what tv channel to watch? Remember those days when you fought over food, which restaurant to go to, which party to attend? Remember scolding your child for waiting for you before sleeping or scolding your hubby for taking dinner without you? Sure signs of a negative environment.
Home is where you are happy. You feel safe and you have peace. Peace because you respect the fact that people there have equal rights to freedom.
Otherwise you would step on each other’s toes. If you are at a place where somebody tries to put you down, rejects you and disrespect you, then no matter how many rooms you have in your mansion…that is not a home.
Home can be just a one-room shelter where you can accept each other’s weaknesses yet believe that change can still happen for the better. Within this first month of 2005, better check if you still have a home; I hope it is not just a house. You can never achieve anything if you cannot achieve stability in your own home.
If there are changes to be made, then take the courage to decide once and for all and initiate it.
Believe that you can create that home. Besides, that should be the first thing your heart should wish for……a peaceful and happy home.
