CebuSoft set to showcase expertise at Citem exhibit

CEBU’S information technology (IT) sector, particularly the software development sub-sector through the Cebu Software Development Industry Association Inc. or CebuSoft, is set to showcase its homegrown technological expertise at the e-Services Philippines: 5th IT Outsourcing Conference and Exhibition, the country’s premier annual IT outsourcing exhibit organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (Citem).

Seven members of CebuSoft, namely Primary Software Development Corp., Alliance Software Inc., eSprint Software, PC911 Services Inc., Powerpro Software Solutions, Asia Technologies Inc., and Bisdak Software Development will display and demonstrate the latest software trends of Cebu.
CebuSoft’s major sponsors are Pearl 2 and Globe Telecom. Other sponsors include Asiatown IT Park and the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co.

The e-Services Philippines: 5th IT Outsourcing Conference and Exhibition will be held on Feb. 17-18 at the Edsa Shangri-la Manila Hotel. It will be highlighted by an IT Outsourc-ing Conference and led by a powerhouse panel of industry experts in outsourcing.

It also brings together under one roof major companies and organizations from the e-services sector, including contact center, business process outsourc-ing, software development, medical transcription and animation services.

The event is an excellent opportunity for Cebu’s IT sector to market products and services to local and foreign firms, as well as compete in this year’s Citem Best Product/Service Awards.

Last year, Primary Software and eSprint won top awards in the education and business categories.
