Talk back: Garbage at Kawit Point
By Aboitiz Construction Group Inc.

This is a reaction to the Textforum contribution of a certain Pat Rodriguez in sun.Star's Feb. 22 issue.

While we respect his observation that "traffic congestion in Minglanilla is mainly caused by Gorones construction's lack of manpower and equipment," this is incorrect.

We believe Mr. Rodriguez was referring to the area in Poblacion, Minglanilla where both sides of the road are teeming with business establishments.

The area has been cleared to enable us to work on the drainage this week, this after Miwasco was able to clear it of water pipes.

So as not to cause traffic problems in the already congested road, we start work only in the evening (starting 9 p.m.) until 6 in the morning.
