A limited engagement with Austrian pianist at the Marriott

On limited engagement, world-class Austrian pianist Franz Langer performs at the Palm Lounge of Cebu City Marriott Hotel from March 7 to 9 at 8-10 p.m., serenading guests with piano masterpieces which have delighted international audiences in Langer’s many performances in over 20 countries worldwide including concerts in Malaysia, China, India and an Olympics game concert in the United States.

Cebu City Marriott Hotel brings Langer to his first performance in Cebu, with a repertoire consisting classics of Strauss and Mozart, timeless arias from operettas, Broadway hits and well-loved songs of Nat King Cole, Perry Como and Frank Sinatra.

Langer started playing the piano at age eight and has studied classical piano in Kitzbuhel, Innsbruck and Berlin. Multi-talented Langer who also sings, conducts and directs, has accompanied famous international singers and appeared in television and radio programmes in Austria and overseas. His music event company “Langer Music and Culture Management”, which has successfully staged concerts for various multinational companies including Siemens, British Petrol (BP), General Motors and ONE, has earned him an enviable reputation in the music world.

One of his many successful projects is the “Sound of Music Show” which plays in Salzburg, Austria. The show features Austrian singers and actors in a daily show from May to October, drawing more than 15,000 visitors in a year.
