Ex-Gems assistant to hold hoops clinic

More than 40 aspirants have signed up for the TimeOut Basketball Clinic that will open on April 1 at the Cebu Coliseum.

Clinic director Rex Salvaña expects more students to enroll as they are still receiving many inquiries daily.

“We have a very good crew handling the camp. It’s a very competent and experienced traiing staff,” said Salvaña, a former assistant coach of the Cebu Gems and head coach of the All Care Insurance team in the Cebu Basketball Federation.

Assisting Salvaña in the camp are ex-Philippine Basketball Association players Teroy Albarillo, Reggie Licanda and Bong Abad.

The clinic is accepting kids seven-years-old and above. Registration is P1,300 inclusive of jersey and certificate of accomplishment.

For details and registration contact Frank Marindoque at 0921-6098491 or Salvaña at 0916-45346390. (RCM)
