Cebuana outplays Laguna
VETERAN swingman Ruben dela Rosa erupted with a game-high 22 points to keep RP Cebuana Lhuillier unbeaten following a 90-70 win over the winless Laguna Springs last Saturday in the Spring Cooking Oil-NBC North pre-season games at the Ambassador PJL Sports Complex in Las Piñas City.
Dela Rosa, who played for the defending champion Tribu Sugbu last season, exploded early in the first quarter with 10 markers to propel the Jean Henri Llhuillier-backed RP Team to the driver’s seat, 23-14.
In the first game, the Far Eastern Insurance-backed Cavite Insurers danced on fire before running away with an 86-76 triumph against the Forward Taguig. RCM
