Restaurateur par excellence Larry J. Cruz came to our Queen City to oversee the finishing touches of his latest "baby," Cafe Havana, at Ayala Center beside Laguna Garden Cafe. He is proud to say that "Cafe Havana is more than just a bar, it is a temple of good, well prepared food that's new and exciting." The resto combines Cuban, Spanish and Caribbean cuisine. It was therefore with open arms that Myn welcomed Norma when she came to Cebu for the Ikebana exhibit. Myn and husband Nono hosted dinner at their well-appointed home in Maria Luisa Park for Norma and her companions Alice Reyes and Dendee Bendigo.
Two weeks later, Nono was the superstar in a birthday dinner at their home. It was a small group of relatives and dear friends. Among the guests were Mandaue Mayor Ted and Linda Ouano who are in the throes of preparation for the coming fiesta.
