CCCI vies for 2005 World Chambers recognition

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Inc. has been selected as one of the finalists of the 2005 World Chambers Competition for the Best Chambers Management and Financing Project.

The 4th World Chambers Congress will be held in Durban, South Africa on June 20 to 22.

The four categories in this year’s world chambers competition are best small business project, best chambers management and financing project, best information technology project and best unconventional project.

CCCI, a non-stock, non-profit organization of businessmen, merchants, professionals and entrepreneurs based in Cebu, envisions itself to be the engine of Cebu’s economic growth.

With its innovative projects and commitment to provide services aimed at strengthening the skills, capabilities and resources of its members such as business advocacy, linkage with other organizations, trade fairs and exhibits and its other business support services, the world chambers competition jury is highly impressed with the quality of application submitted by CCCI about its annual business festival, the Cebu Business Month.

The winners will be announced on June 22. (PR)
