Sto. Niño de Mohon holds fund-raising
The Sto. Niño de Mohon Church’s Parish Finance Council is holding a raffle promo to raise funds for the refurbishing of the church.
The church, built in 1984, is located in Talisay. The council said the churchgoers have grown in number through the years so there is a need to repair and refurbish it to make it more attractive and adaptive to the present setting.
The raffle prizes will be provided by the Norkis Group of Companies, specifically the Yamaha and multicab units. An Elegance Standard multicab will be given away as first prize, a Cryton R as second prize and CR 90 as third prize.
Elegance Standard is a two-wheel, four-stroke, three-cylinder water-cooled small car from Norkis. The car has a 660 cc 12-valve engine and four-speed transmission.
Church leaders, led by parish priest Fr. Agustin C. Ty, OSA, and fully supported by Parish Finance Council chairperson Cesarea Amamio and raffle draw project chairman Buen Jose Delfin, aim to raise half a million pesos.
The raffle draw will be held on Sept. 4. For more inquiries, one may call Buen Delfin at 346-1411 or 344-4969.
