IBF champ keen on Pacman fight

MANNY Pacquiao may have lost the chance to fight IBF super-featherweight (130 pounds) kingpin Robbie Peden, but hope is looming on the horizon.

Peden, the Australian brawler who has already agreed to fight the legendary Marco Antonio Barrera on Sept. 17, is still not closing the window just yet on a possible match with Pacquiao.

“We are not yet closing the door on a fight with Manny Pacquiao,” Peden was quoted in an Internet report. “I want big-money fights against big-name fighters.”

The proposed Pacquiao-Peden title bout officially fell apart last Monday after Golden Boy Promotions announced that Peden’s camp had already agreed to a Peden-Barrera super-featherweight unification bout on Sept. 17. GCM
