PBC bowl tilt July 3

A showdown between Cebu’s top age-group keglers is bound to get underway next week.

The Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) Youth 2nd Inter-School Bowling Tournament, expected to draw top junior local bowlers, is set to blast off on July 3 at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

The event, coming off a successful run in its inaugural 2004 season, will hold separate competitions for boys and girls in each of its four major divisions: Collegiate for players born between 1982-85, Majors (1986-89), Juniors (1990-93), and Bantam (1994-96).

Registration for the event is scheduled from 12-1 p.m. on opening day at the competition’s venue. Entry fees are P700 for the Collegiate division, P600 for the Juniors and Majors and P500 for the Bantam.

Interested parties may contact the Gaisano Bowlingplex at 232-7170 or 231-1481 for more details. (GCM)
