Goldline, JS win, make Division II finals

RC Goldline ’94 and JS Contractor ’96 beat separate teams to advance to the Division II best-of-three championship series of the 2005 Osaka Iridology-San Carlos Boys High Alumni Basketball Association.

In Division I, Mighty Bond ’70s will combat defending champion B-Meg ’85 for the right to advance to the ultimate round.

RC Goldline escaped Sirlitz ‘95, 75-74, while JS Contractor ’96 booted out Division II defending champion Atan Guardo ’93, 97-85, to arrange a titular showdown in Division II.

Mighty Bond ’70s booked a seat in the Division I finals after a 95-85 victory over Osaka Iridology ’86.

Sirlitz came back with Leo Dale Caparas leading the charge with 10 baskets in the third quarter.

After a physical fourth quarter, which put both teams in the penalty, Sirlitz ’95 held on to a thin 74-72 lead with only 8.2 seconds.
