Hotelier

Fans of the beautiful Song Hye Kyo, who saw her as Jessie in Full House and as the captivating Jenny in Endless Love 1: Autumn in My Heart, will now see a whole new side of her in Hotelier. Song Hye Kyo plays Ginger Kim, daughter of hotel mogul Jin Fu Wan (Ha Jin Hee). Her mother committed suicide when she was young, and Ginger has since resented her father for it. After being saved twice by Julius Han (Kim Seung Woo), she began to develop an interest in him. However, because of the vast age difference, Julius has trouble accepting her love, yet she persists.

The story begins with the sudden death of the president of Hotel Seoul, whose management now not only has to struggle with day-to-day problems but also has to thwart the aggressive takeover attempt of the hotel’s rival Jin Fu Wan. To complete the takeover, Jin Fu Wan hired the merger and acquisition expert Frank Shin (Bae Yong Joon, a.k.a. Joseph/Jun of Endless Love 2: Winter Sonata) from the US to be in charge of the case.

On the other hand, Hotel Seoul enlisted Julius Han, an ex-hotel employee, for the position of hotel head manager in the attempt to save the hotel. Not only are Frank and Julius rivals for the hotel, they are also rivals in love. Their common love interest happens to be one of the hotel managers: Eilleen Yin (Sung Yun Ah). Meanwhile, because Ginger has developed an attraction to Julius, she began working as a waitress in Hotel Seoul.

Watch the unfolding of this riveting tale from Monday to Friday beginning replacing Friends on GMA-7.
