Secretaries body, doctors set confab

The Philippine Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (PAS) Cebu chapter and the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) will hold a conference in August and September, respectively.

PAS invites all executives and office professionals to join in its 6th Regional Conference on Aug. 19-20 at the Montebello Villa Hotel. Theme is “Building Professional Competitive Advantage.”

The conference is designed to equip its participants with no-nonsense modern skills needed to get ahead in today’s challenging work environment.

Topics include “The Psychology of Survival,” “Today’s Coolest Techno Gadgets and Equipment,” “Get Hyphenated,” among others.

Meawhile, PAFP will have its 16th National Midyear Convention at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino (WCCHC) on Sept. 8-10.

Theme is “The Family Physicians in the Age of Globalization and Information Technology.” To be hosted by PAFP Cebu chapter, with Dr. Eli AR. Belarmino as overall chair, and co-hosted by PAFP Bohol chapter with Dr. Disi Yap-Alba as overall co-chair, the official closing ceremonies will take place in Tagbilaran city on Sept. 10.
