Sugbu, Mantawi cagers to play in NBC Selection

COCA-COLA’S second-round draft-pick Neil Rañeses will lead the Nature Spring-backed NBC Selection in the 9th Crown Prince Cup Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Jiranakorn Sports Ground in Haad Yai, Thailand on Aug. 26-30.

Rañeses, among the pillars of the NBC defending champion Tribu Sugbu, will play alongside teammates Lowell Briones, Rex Mangubat and Doroteo Almacin.

Joining the Tribesmen are the Mantawi Sparkling Knights’ Ardy Larong, Maui Huelar, Danny Capobres and Marvin Tundag as well as the Laguna Spring’s Mel Latoreno, Dondon Villamin, Val Domingo and Marlon Kalaw.

The NBC Selection will play against the national teams of host Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea. (RCM)
