Housing developer opens Cebu office

Property developer Johndorf Ventures Corp. (JVC) launched its Cebu office last week at the FGU Building in the Cebu Business Park.

JVC is a Mindanao-based developer that began operating in Cebu a year ago with its real-estate development project La Aldea Buena Mactan in Lapu-lapu City. It used to hold office in Mandaue.

“Our new office in Cebu is a testimony of our confidence in continuing our business here,” said Beverly Castro, executive vice president of JVC.

She noted that the property development industry is on the upswing again after the economic crisis that hit the industry some eight years ago.

Glenda Tupas, JVC Cebu sales and marketing chief, said 80 percent of the number of units in the 8.3-hectare La Aldea Buena Mactan subdivision are already sold out.

La Aldea Buena Mactan subdivision has over 1,000 units.

“We are proud to offer decent, affordable yet quality houses,” she told Sun.Star Cebu in an interview.

Apart from Home Mutual Development Fund or Pag-ibig Fund, applicants can also avail of the company’s short-term in-house financing.

Castro also announced that JVC would soon expand and operate in Manila. (ALC)
