Honda runs over Sheena in Cebfa cagefest
Honda Motors regrouped in time to clinch a 79-69 win over Sheena Lending Investors, while Hyle Bridal Haus survived ALD Commercial, 72-71, in the elimination round of the 7th Cebu Basketball Friendship Association (Cebfa) tournament.
While San Remegio Beach Club beat Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop, 71-53.
The backcourt combination of former Cebu Central Colleges Baby Executives Reggie Licanda and Richie Bacalso was a huge factor in Honda Motors’ second victory, as they combined for 38 points.
Meanwhile, Marlon Mariano sank a clutch triple in the final three seconds to take Hyle Bridal Haus to its second consecutive win and hand ALD Commercial its second defeat in as many games.
