Speak out: Lost opportunity
By Antolin M. de la Serna
Guadalupe, Cebu City

We were gladdened when President Arroyo pushed the opposition to file impeachment charges against her so she can defend herself and clear her name.

Now we are saddened by what her allies in Congress did, depriving her of that opportunity to prove her innocence.

The issue remains unresolved and the accusations are left hanging. This is bad for the country.

To me, the killing of the impeachment charges did more harm than good to President Arroyo.
