In 1908, Theodore Tobler (son of Swiss chocolate maker Jean Tobler) and his cousin Emil Baumann named their distinctive chocolate bars Toblerone, a word play on the surname “Tobler” and “torrone,” the Italian word for honey-almond nougat.

Google (from the Google search engine) is a play on the word “googol,” which was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, to refer to the number represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros.
