Public accountants set nat’l. convention
The Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (Gacpa) will hold its 27th annual national convention in Jaro, Iloilo City on Oct. 19-22.
Theme is “Extra Challenge Amidst These Changing Times.”
All CPAs in the government/public sector, including budget, finance and disbursing officers, are invited to attend the event of sharing new insights and experiences of great relevance to the fields of government accounting and auditing.
Invited speakers include Sen. Manuel B. Villar, Commission on Audit chairman Guillermo N. Carague, and Budget Secretary Romulo L. Neri.
Registration fee is P4,800, which will cover the cost of convention materials, meals, among others.
Interested participants from Cebu and Region 7 may make their payments to Eduardo T. Habin, Gacpa Cebu Chapter treasurer, at the Office of the Provincial Administrator, Cebu Provincial Capitol Compound.
Those who will pay in checks must make their checks payable to Gacpa Cebu Chapter.
