Epson launches cost-saving office machines
Realizing the need of businesses to be cost-efficient due to the economic crisis, Epson has introduced to the market a line of all-in-one office solutions that allow users to print, scan and copy photos simultaneously.
Epson’s Stylus CX3700, Stylus CX 4100 and Stylus CX4700 provide cost-conscious general home and small office-home office users (Soho), small- to medium-scale businesses and advanced users a tool to ensure improved quality printouts at reasonable prices, Epson senior product management associate Heidi Co said.
“These offerings from Epson have been designed to provide best value printing and color copying solutions so the users could achieve longer lasting printouts easily and more cost-effectively,” she told a press conference at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel last week.
The Stylus CX 3700 is designed for general home use.
It has a built-in Black Ink Save Mode, a device intelligent enough to mix colors on its own to allow continued printing when the black ink runs low. It also has a unique “inkdividual” cartridge system that allows users to replace only the ink that has already been used up.
Advanced
CX 4100, on the other hand, is designed for those looking for simple lifestyle imaging functions, such as small officess that cannot justify the expense of a dedicated copier.
Meanwhile, the CX 4700 is designed for advanced home and Soho users.
This all-in-one machine can easily allow users to scan, print and directly copy BorderFree photos of up to size A4.
Co said Epson has considered the user requirements for easy printing and copying.
Thus, each all-in-one machine was designed with a simple control panel that allows fast and simple operation of the printer in stand-alone mode.
Epson is into the manufacturing of imaging products, including printers, projectors and LCDs.
“With an innovative and creative culture, Epson is dedicated to exceeding the vision and expectations of customers worldwide with products known for their superior quality,” Co said. (JBN)
