Globe sets up service center at mall for subscribers’ online questions
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom, Innove Communications Inc. (Innove), has set up two personal computers (PCs) in its Globelines Payments and Services (GPS) center in Ayala Center Cebu (ACC) to enable customers to browse through the services and promotions being offered by Globelines.
Innove has also expanded the area of its GPS center, which has been relocated to the second level, near ACC’s main entrance, to be able to serve more customers and attend to their varying needs, such as bill payments, after-sales assistance, products and service inquiries through the PCs, Globe Telecom’s Jerome Yntig said during the inauguration of the center.
Old and new
Yntig said existing, as well as new Globeline subscribers, may visit the GPS center for any queries on Globeline products and services, such as postpaid and prepaid accounts, broadband and worldpass services or to purchase Globe 1 cards.
Globelines broadband is a high speed Internet connection that allows a subscriber to download more information, music and videos.
The service comes in three packages for subscribers to choose from—express, explore and extreme—depending on their connectivity needs and budget.
Worldpass on the other hand is Globelines’ new Internet service that allows unlimited Internet connection anytime, anywhere.
It allows subscribers to access the Internet in various ways, such as via broadband from any Globelines-connected PC, dial-up from any computer using any landline within the country, wifi (wireless fidelity) from any GlobeQuest Wiz hotspot and Internet using the iPass network.
Globe 1 cards can be used for mobile calls. (JBN)
