For those who are not familiar with Salsa, it is a mixture of various Latin rhythms and dances.  It originated in Cuba and Puerto Rico and emerged from New York City in the 1950s.

As a dance form, Salsa has vastly grown and spread to many countries including Germany, Denmark, Canada, Japan, and other neighboring countries.  Salsa is now the fastest growing dance form in the world.  Latin American film and music stars such as Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin, have brought greater attention to Salsa music and culture.  It continues to expand, and now the SalsaCraze that’s spreading all over the world is finally hitting the Philippines.
