Network CEO at the AdCon

GMA Network Inc. chairman, president and CEO, Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, will be one of the featured executives at the 19th Philippine AD Congress being held at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City.

Gozon, who will be representing the media industry, will talk in a CEO forum to be held today.

Gozon takes on GMA 7’s emergence from being a media company to an establishment that has branched out to the world wide web via the Inq7.net and igma.tv.

Culminating on November 19, the 19th PAC tackles the theme Ready for the World?!

Through his strategies, Gozon has instilled a culture of excellence, breaking stagnant ratings and cashing in on a variety of talents.

Also scheduled to speak at the congress is Manuel P. Quiogue, president, GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc., who will talk about the future of TV, radio and print. GMA SVP for Radio and RGMA President Mike Enriquez hosts the plenary sessions.

GMA Network and QTV or Quality Television Channel 11 – GMA Network’s  sister station on the VHF channel host two nights of fun via dinners and entertainment in the four-day congress which surpassed the 2,000 delegates in attendance of 2001.

Around 2,200 participants signed up for the event – a positive indication of Cebu’s success in hosting the event for the fourth time.

The advertising congress which is held every other year is the first systematic industry-wide effort undertaken on a national scale to upgrade professionalism in advertising and ensure the continuing development of the industry.

Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines (ASAP) and Marketing & Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES) are the 19th PAC hosts.
