Kapuso Barangayan reaches out
It was a back-to-back Serbisyong Totoo weekend for all Kapusong Cebuanos with Barangay Bisdak trooping over to Barangay Apas, Lahug and Barangay Hipodromo for a special day of fun, entertainment and most of all public service.
Barangay Bisdak locked arms with Super Radyo for the weekly Barangayan which is aired live over DYSS-AM.
With DYSS Super Lloyd Suarez leading the pack from 9 am to 12 nn, the Barangayan turned out to be a successful venue for the Apas residents to voice out their sentiments.
Atty. Dalawampu, the forum’s guest, willingly answered the questions and cleared some problems that usually arise in the urban poor sector. Meanwhile, more than 2,000 residents welcomed the Barangay Kapuso team in its recent visit to Barangay Hipodromo.
Actress Sherilyn Reyes wowed the audience with an upbeat number and was warmly acknowledged by her kababayans. A true-blue Cebuana, Sherilyn also facilitated the Q&A portion, acting as “Jessica” of Bahay Mo Ba ‘To? to the amusement of the crowd.
Oi!’s tandem of Mareng Sam and best friend Amon tested Slamdunk’s popularity as they sang the Slamdunk theme song, which delighted the crowd.
Yuri brought on the groove as he danced Gasolina while the talented residents of the barangay stepped up for a song number followed by two dance performances.
It was an unforgettable Kapuso weekend with all the Bisdaks making it all happen. Expect the coming Barangayan to be more fun and exciting and public service to be walay gidapigan, walay gipalabi, walay panglimod, tinood nga serbisyo lang.
