Firm builds new high-end homes

Real estate developers are set to capture a market of homebuyers who want to acquire quality houses and lots in one package.

“You’ll find it cheaper and more effective than having to buy a lot and building your own home,” Derek Arculli, developer of Maria Luisa Homes, said yesterday in a press conference.

Maria Luisa Homes, an affiliate of Maria Luisa Properties, launched its first high-end residential subdivision named Mahogany Place.

Investment

Owning a real estate, not only as a place to live in but also as an investment, is gaining popularity, he said.

Buying a residence at Mahogany Place promises to be a good investment with an opportunity for value appreciation, a statement from Maria Luisa Homes said.

Maria Luisa Homes marketing director Mary Anne Arculli said there is a demand by foreigners who are chief executives of companies that operate in Cebu and from clients overseas for houses and lots in the subdivision.

Inquiries

“We came up with this project because we got many inquiries (about) ready-made homes in Maria Luisa. Buying a house and lot together would not only mean less hassle but also more economical for our buyers,” she said.

Mahogany Place is located in Phase 10 of the 200-hectare Maria Luisa Estate Park in Banilad, Cebu City.

Derek said the project offers 15 to 16 house and lot units for high-end and ultra high-end market composed of Cebu local residents, balikbayans and immigrants who want luxury, comfort and value for their money.

Five residences are now available for presale for P15 to P16 million each, he said. (ALC)
