Having been senator, vice-president and president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is aware that a sitting president is banned from running for reelection.

She did not only violate that but went on to lie that she would not run for reelection in 2001.

She should resign, pronto.

In Japan, they simply commit harakiri.

In America, they leap from the tallest building to their death.

In our country, officials who are shamed stick to their position, like glue.
