Jesuits debut in Aspirant

Defending champion Sacred Heart School-Jesuits starts its title-retention bid today as the BAP-Visayas/MLSDF 3rd ML Kwarta Padala Cup – Aspirant Division tournament resumes at the Sacred Heart School Gym.

The Jesuits will play against the debuting University of Southern Philippines Baby Panthers at 9:30 a.m. after the University of San Carlos-Don Bosco College opening game.

USC is aiming for its second win after beating the Hoop It Up quintet, 50-46, during the tournament opener last Dec. 17.

In the main match, Hoop It Up will try to bounce back against the University of San Jose-Recoletos Baby Jaguars at 11 a.m.

The Jesuits of coach Hermogenes Anciado will need extra muscle against the Bosconians, who were the Cebu champions of the Pasarelle division of the Milo Best tournament.
