SM CITY CEBU (North Reclamation Area)

Topping the list for the Sinulog celebration are the following: Kapuso Weekend featuring Jolina Magdangal and the JaBoom Twins at the Terminal area at 4 p.m. (Friday); Starstruck Live at the Terminal area at 4 p.m. To be followed by a Sinulog Street Party with Jay R and Cebu’s best bands at the Fiesta Strip at 6 p.m. (Saturday); and SOP Gigsters Live at the Terminal area at 12 noon (Sunday).

METRO AYALA OPEN PARKING AREA

Among those to watch out for in the Sinulog parade this Sunday are the popular housemates of Pinoy Big Brother who are arriving tomorrow for ABS-CBN’s three-day Kapamilya fiesta. Don’t miss the fun.

GAISANO MAIN/ COUNTRY MALL

Hollywood Dream Grand winner Julia Clarete will grace the stores’ Sinulog party tomorrow night with special shows at 7p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively. Country Mall is also having a Sinulog midnight sale. Free entrance.

NEW CEBU COLISEUM (Sanciangko St.)

At least 12 original Cebuano compositions will vie for the 26th Cebu Pop Music Festival grand finals tonight. Sultry diva Vernie Varga is the special guest performer. Tickets can be scored at P300, P200 and P100 at the venue. Show starts at 8 p.m.

PACIFIC GRAND BALLROOM, WATERFRONT HOTEL (LAHUG)

Relive the classic hits like Sumayaw Sumunod, Dahil Mahal Kita, and many others as Boyfriends stages its first ever concert
in Cebu on January 14 at 8 p.m. with the enthralling performance of popular comedian Elizabeth Ramsey. Dubbed Boyfriends meets Queen Elizabeth, tickets are sold at P1.000. P800, P500 and P300. For reservations, call 232-6888.

The set is to be staged on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the restaurant’s Kwarto Tres that starts at 8:30pm.

Retro, jazz, latin, and pop music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s by Karina & The Different Strokes Band entertain guests at Jive Tuesdays to Saturdays, while The New Drifters alternate on Mondays.
