Oral-B to hold dental clinic

Fiestas are part of the Filipino culture. And, because fiesta means an abundance of food, Oral- B Philippines sees it as a perfect opportunity to remind the public about the importance of good oral health.

In line with this, toothbrush maker Oral-B Philippines will be raiding fiesta celebrations all over the country by holding free dental consultations.

In Cebu City, Oral-B will deploy a mobile dental clinic in Cebu City today. The clinic will conduct free dental check ups in the city.

Dubbed “Oral-B Aahm-bush,” the program has contacted news and current affairs anchor and TV talk show host Christine Bersola-Babao to help promote oral health care.

Bersola-Babao will join the “Oral-B Aahmbush team in Cebu.

People tend to neglect the importance of annual dental checkups due to economic reasons and the distance they have to travel the dental clinic, which is often found in the city.

“This is why Oral-B will be bringing in dental experts to do this public service of checking on the teeth and oral health of people, who otherwise may not have the time or means to visit the dentist,” said Ming Arroyo, Oral-B senior product manager.

Aahmbushes have been conducted during Bacolod’s Masskara and Bohol’s San-dugo, among others. (PR)
