CoopLink Corp., CTI ink MOA for Coop ATM
CoopLink Corporation Vice-Chairman Rikki Samson formally signed a memorandum of agreement last January 10, to develop, implement, and maintain the software needed to run Automated Teller Machines to be supplied by Channel Technologies, Inc. (CTI) at Victo Seminar House, Beverly Hills, Lahug.
“This marks a milestone to revolutionize the savings operations of the cooperatives across the Visayas and eventually pave the way for other automated services to benefit the thousands of Cooperative members” said Samson.
Slated to be implemented at the onset of the second quarter of this year, the Coop ATM is a realization of an age-old vision of the cooperative movement leaders to improve savings service delivery to its members.
CTI’s proven expertise in ATM implementation for banking institutions will also be instrumental in the success of this venture.
According to the technical team of CoopLink Corp., work has been on-going to develop a robust and secure system required for the ATMs to be operational.
A timeline on the development, to the implementation stage, as well as the identification of vital resources, was also finalized during the event.
The signing was attended by leaders of different cooperatives, Victo, VCF and other officers of both CoopLink Corp. and CTI.
