Ng: The most painful and memorable text messages

Integral. I am sure you all agree that cell phone texting has become an integral part of our lives. I got into this interesting forum where they were discussing the most painful and memorable messages they got from their text friends. Sometimes, it is the most innocent message that caused the most pain, even well meaning ones. Here are some of the selections:

Received: I am sorry. I can’t luv the way I used to.

Sent: I’ll be late! Reply: he he he he!

Sent: I hope we can reconcile and be together again. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. Sana we can meet sometime this week. Reply: who’s this? Sorry. Lost my address book.

Received: Sige na! I still need to text (name). Maubos na ang load ko.

Sent: lam mo.. i like you.. kahit 2nd yr pa lang ako.. kahit nbabalitaan mong andami kong crush.. pro sa totoo lang kaw tlg ang gs2 ko.. Received: K.

Received: I luv you. But I love him more…

Received: Jus let me go. I want to be happy.

Received: I am sorry. You deserve somebody better…

Received:...I’m sorry... ayoko na talaga.
Sent: She says she already broke up with you. Reply: Its ok. She’s all yours. One man’s garbage is another man’s gold.

Received: Your Account Balance as of mm/dd/yyyy is 0.00 You also have 0 remaining FREE texts

Received: Sorry kung indi ako nakasama sa inyo kasi hindi ko sya matanggihan eh.. magkasama kami ngayon...

Received: Ok. Let’s be friends. But don’t text me from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. coz kasama ko yung boyfriend ko sa skul at dat time.

Received:I forgive you, but we’re still not friends.

Received:You called several times? sorry kausap ko kasi x ko.. pinagbibigyan ko lang.

Received: “Basta!”

Received: “ Hi, got you from the address book. Tell your friend with this cell phone number (nnn-nnnnnnn) that I found his cell phone in the men’s room. Di na nakin i-return! So ask him not to wish anymore. Ha! Ha!”

Received: “AYAW KITANG I-TEXT KASI ANG PANGIT NG CELLPHONE MO!”

Received: “i met someone new na... i thought i can deal with the distance, hindi pala, he’s also a flight attendant... sorry...

Sent: Now is my birthday, and I cook us some dinner. Pls. come ha! Reply: Let me check. I promised my brother kasi to watch Apprentice with him tonight in the house..

There are many more, but what they highlight is not only humor, but how people unwittingly hurt others. But overall, many agree that sometimes, the most hurtful is actually also not being replied to at all! Happy texting!
