The Pinoy crooner at SM tomorrow!

Watch Jerome Sala live tomorrow at SM City Cebu Entertainment Plaza, at 4 in the afternoon.

Bohol is on a roll! The chocolate hills are alive with the soulful and distinct ballads of Boholano crooner Jerome Sala. One of the three wild card finalists who made it to the champions league and proceeded to go home with the Grand Prize in the Search for the Star in a Million, Jerome’s strengths are his deep and moving baritone voice and his glaring sex appeal. He sings like a modern day Nonoy Zuñiga and has the same audience appeal as a new generation Rico J. Puno. More than being likened to other artists, Jerome has proven that he has his own style as he walked away with the much-coveted Grand Prize of the biggest talent search in the country today.

From wildcard to Grand Champion, this native Boholano’s wild ride started at the tender age of five, when his father imposed that he sing in order to prove the family’s singing genes are safely passed on to him from his grandfather. Undoubtedly, his father was right - Jerome proved his father’s theory when Jerome won his first singing competition at age five.

Jerome’s undeniable talent continues to shine through as he joins the ever-growing roster of quality artists from Star Records. As soon as he won the title, Jerome signed up with the premier record label for a record deal, as well as with its talent management arm STRAM (Star Records Artist Management).

Jerome’s fans and followers will be happy to know that he has recently finished working on his self-titled debut album, and it’s now released nationwide by Star Records. The album contains his signature song One In A Million”, his winning piece Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo, and powerful ballads such as Gulong Ng Palad and I Will Take You Forever, which is a duet with fellow Champions League of Five Mabel Bacusmo. The first single off the album is his version of the classic hit Take a Look Inside My Heart, which is already enjoying extensive airplay on radio stations nationwide.

What is most amazing about this Boholano hero is his ability to look at life’s challenges and smile at it too. This, with his endearing quirkiness, humble background, unexpected hirits, probinsyano charm and his suave singing prowess make him quite a find. Indeed, with life in Bohol like a box of Chocolate (hills), you never really know what you’re gonna get.

Jerome Sala’s self-titled debut album is now available in record stode, released by Star Records.
