MMA Consulting releases inspiring books, videos

THE MMA Consulting recently released locally published inspiring information materials for the public and the academe.

Retracing our Roots: A Journey into Cebu’s Precolonial and Colonial Past is all about Cebu History, specifically during the anti-Spanish and anti-American war in Cebu. Authored by media specialist and researcher Marivir R. Montebon, the book is sold in all National Book Stores in the city at P200.

The book was launched in 2000 and is published by ES Villaver Publishing. Retracing our Roots had been part of the Philippine government exhibit in the US and Canada during the Philippine centennial celebration in 2001.

The Tale of Juliet is an inspiring story of Juliet Torcelino-Van Ruyven, a Canada-based Filipina businesswoman, who made it from poverty to prosperity with sheer determination and prayers.

The book was first published in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada by Digi Print Graphics and made its inroads in the Philippines last year. Each copy costs P290. The author was recently named as one of the achievers in Asia by People Asia magazine.

MMA Consulting, a specialist in promotions, research, and capacity-building training, also releases Missionary Lives, a video documentary of four missionaries of the Redemptorist Congregation. The lives of the late Fr. Louie Hechanova and Fr. Leo English and the inspiring Fr. Filomeno Suico, and Fr. Peter Mullrooney come to focus in a 30-minuter DVD/VCD that costs P300.

The video documentaries are produced by Fr. Frank Connon, CSsR in time for the centennial celebration of the Redemptorists in the Philippines this year.

Part of the proceeds of these books and video documentaries go to the children of the Balay sa Pag-ampo Foundation in Cantipla, Cebu and the I Can Serve Foundation to aid the healing of women with breast cancer.

For orders, one may contact MMA Consulting at 032-3469635 or at marivir@mmaconsulting.biz.
