The Magic of Silver Lace at Shangri-la Mactan

To complement the splendid transformation of the new Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La’s Mactan Island Resort & Spa lets you indulge in the beautiful music of Silver Lace. This magical all-female music group is the hotel’s newest attraction, composed of Michelle Montero, Neriza Doctor and Liza Aragon.

Michelle Montero is a member soloist of the UP Concert Chorus and has performed in countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe. She was also a member of the Singapore Lyric Opera from 2001-2002.

Beginning her singing career at a young age, Nerizza Doctor has gathered a myriad of awards for her great performances. A finalist of the popular Philippine singing star search Bagong Kampeon, she moved on to perform international stints in Thailand, Singapore, China and Japan.

A product of the UP College of Music, Liza Aragon was a former keyboard player of the Sabor Latino band. She had been a back up keyboard player for well-known Filipino talents such as Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Pops Fernandez, Jaya and Leo Valdez. She has also performed in various countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Japan and China.

Silver Lace was formed when Michelle joined Liza and Neriza last year for a series of performances in the Shangri-La Hotel Pudong in Shanghai, China. They perform current and classic hits of love songs, ballads and other slow tunes. Catch this fabulous trio at the cozy Lobby Lounge of Shangri-La’s Mactan Island Resort & Spa from Monday to Saturday 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.
