Ginebra, Tigers part ways today

DEFENDING champion Barangay Ginebra will try to take a share of the lead alongside Coca-Cola when it guns for its second win in a Gran Matador-PBA Philippine Cup match-up today against the Sta. Lucia Realtors at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Talk ’N Text Phone Pals and Air21 Express eye to bounce back from their respective debut losses when the two meet in the 4:10 p.m. opener of the twinbill.

The Kings, who debuted with a 98-81 victory over Talk ’N Text Wednesday, can get a big lift if Mark Caguioa repeats his performance in the campaign opener against the Phone Pals where he poured in a tournament-high 39 points.

Although Caguioa suffered a hamstring injury during the Fiesta Conference playoffs, the Fil-Am spitfire showed no signs of slowing down against the Phone Pals. (JSV)
