PYMIF offers classes for Yaw-Yan Ardigma
The Philippine Yaw-Yan Ardigma Martial Arts International Federation (PYMIF) is accepting applicants for its summer training at its headquarters at Room 304 Villacampa-Capuras Bldg. across the University of Cebu – Main Campus.
Benigno R Caniga Jr., the director for Visayas and Mindanao for PYMIF, said they offer “complete martial arts training, with mind coordination and a test of the enduring spirit. It also involves mental discipliune of focus, concentration, alertness and flexibility stamina.”
The school also offers weight reducing and training for confrontation and fights on or of the ring.
Aside from the Yaw-Yan lessons, they also teach aikido, arnis, boxing, modern jiujitsu, tonfa, yawara sticks, grappling and ardigma style.
“Everybody can learn, there is no age limit,” Caniga said.

After their summer class, Caniga and his group will also organize the Ground and Pound kickboxing and mixed martial arts contest at the Cebu Coliseum on July 8.
The event will serve as an elimination round for the National Championship later this year.(ML)
