Gold coin dealer gets nat’l award, sees chance to redeem reputation
Goldquest International (Goldquest) hopes it will be able to erase negative notions about the company with the award it recently received from the National Council for Product and Service Quality.
According to a statement, Goldquest, one of the largest coin dealers in the world, was conferred the “Seal of Product Quality,” as the Best Retailer of Gold Collector Item in the recent National Product Quality Excellence Awards.
Goldquest was put in bad light in Cebu after the Department of Trade and Industry included the company in the list of companies engaging in the pyramiding scheme, an illegal marketing scheme uses the guise of networking.
Standards
The firm said: “Based on surveys and research done by the National Council for Product and Service Quality and reviewed and validated by the National Product Quality Excellence Awards, Goldquest has met the rigorous standards of product and service quality.”
The firm was evaluated based on its ability to satisfy customer needs and gain customer trust, relative freedom from product defect, ability to deliver on the product or service promise, high manufacturing and production standards, trustworthiness and high product value versus customer cost.
“Goldquest products are known for their innovative design, even taking their design inspiration from pop culture icons such as Star Wars and Formula One,” Philippines country manager Victor Asuncion said.
Goldquest produces and distributes limited-edition numismatics, jewelry and timepieces. The company supplies products through its distribution partner, Ques-tnet, as well as through mail order, TV shopping and e-commerce. (JBN)
